Known as ‘Ammolite’, the shimmering, natural metallic colours of Iridescent Ammonites are caused by a combination of millions of years of compression and the mineralization of iron, copper and silica which precipitated from volcanic ash. This sample is particularly rare for its high presence of rich blues and purple hues.

Rubik Camouflage

Invader’s Rubik Camouflage print is emblematic of the artist’s career as an urban disruptor. For decades he has raided cities around the world with his pixelated mosaics often posing political commentary. Kiss Me

Gilbert & George’s passionate anti-establishment demeanour is often highlighted in the catalogue of work they have created in the past 50 years. The pair have been vocal about their support for LGBTQ+ activism and rights including hosting exhibitions to raise money for AIDS charities. ‘Kiss Me’ was created as part of a suite of 12 ink washes, each in an edition of 50 and created individually by hand by the artists.

Rare Amethyst Crystal

Amethyst is a natural variety of quartz with a chemical makeup is composed of silicon dioxide. Quartz is formed when gas bubbles become trapped in lava, allowing crystals to form inside its cavities. The rich purple colour is caused by tiny impurities of iron which are then altered by natural radiation. They are typically found in North, South, and Central America, with Brazil’s Rio Grande do Sol being one of the most abundant homes of Amethyst.
