The Secrets is an edition of 8 works created by Damien Hirst and published by HENI editions, the series emerges as a natural progression in Hirst's journey, tracing a continuation of themes and techniques from his Cherry blossom works to his most recent ‘Where Land Meets The Sea’.

Hirst uses flowers as a medium to investigate passing feelings and the fleeting aspect of existence. But his method is clearly contemporary, using a vivid palette and a method that blends painstaking attention to detail with expressive, almost aggressive, paint applications.
The contrast between order and chaos, the artificial and the organic, and the discordant and the harmonic is reflected in both his technique and ideas with Hirst inviting the viewer to contemplate the complex relationship between humanity and nature.
