Girl with Balloon (Pink)

Girl With Balloon is perhaps Banksy's most iconic image, depicting a young girl reaching for a heart-shaped balloon, just out of her grasp. Fraught with emotive interpretations—some see the girl as losing the balloon, while others see her as on the verge of catching it—it is a symbol of hope, love, and freedom

Rare Gogotte Formation

Aptly named 'Tameless’, this rare gogotte formation is formed of quartz crystals and calcium carbonate and is produced when superheated water extrudes through crevices into a basin of extremely fine white silica sand. The silica then cements the sand together to form the gogotte’s fluid lines, creating natural sculptures. They are found in only one place in the world; Fontainebleau, France.

Wetting a New Tongue

Wetting a New Tongue By Helen Beard is a celebration of the artist’s erotic exploration. Beard’s use of her vibrant palette creates a skin-like texture fusing form and colour to represent modern female sexuality. Her use of a close-crop instead of the often-used wide shot creates a stylised portrait of intimacy which simulates motion and has great emotional depth.

I Cannot Live Without You

Produced in 2019, ‘I Cannot Live Without You’ by David Shrigley is an ode to his love for animals which are a common theme across his work. His use of the animal kingdom adds to the absurdity of his works with those featured engaging in peculiar or unexpected activities. The simplicity of these works adds to the humour and accessibility of his art for both kids and adults.

“The Cherry Blossoms are about beauty and life and death. They’re extreme—like Jackson Pollock twisted by love. They’re decorative but taken from nature. They’re about desire and how we process the things around us and what we turn them into, but also about the insane visual transience of beauty” - Damien Hirst
