Terms


1. Delivery

Goods are normally dispatched within 7 -14 days from purchase. If we are unable to despatch your order within this time, we will contact you by e-mail with an estimated despatch date and offer you the option of cancelling the order. 

2. Cancellation and Returns

If you are not satisfied with the goods or have changed your mind you have the right to cancel within seven days of receipt of the goods. It is the buyers responsibility to return the goods and receive either a full refund of your monies or a replacement. Please send an e-mail to us before you return goods, telling us that you are returning the goods and why. Should you wish to cancel your order before it has been dispatched, please contact Extraordinary Objects as soon as possible. Orders cannot be cancelled after 7 days. 

3. Damaged Goods

If goods are damaged, the buyer must contact Extraordinary Objects within 7 days of receipt of goods, notifying of said damage, and include an image of reported damage as well as all packaging that accompanied goods.

4. Logistics and Insurance

Goods are packed securely and professionally to ensure safe travel with a respectable courier. Goods are always handled with excellent care using cotton gloves to prevent damage and packed using the correct materials. The prices shown for goods does not include postage and packing. The price you pay will include VAT for all deliveries within the UK Mainland. Limited edition prints that are unframed are sent in durable tubes or flat packed. If a good is sold framed or is a large, heavy sculpture, extra shipping costs will apply and you will be contacted with a quote. Unframed works sent in tubes/flat packed are insured against loss, theft or damage. Additional, fully covered insurance can be obtained at an extra cost for high value works, framed works and sculptures.

5. Payment

Most transactions are processed via bank transfer on receipt of gallery invoice. We accept all forms of credit and debit card including American Express. There is no charge for Amex on any amount under £10,000. For works bought via Amex over £10,000, a 3% surcharge will be added to the invoice total. We also accept Paypal, and offer the interest-free credit scheme Own Art (see below).

6. Own Art

Own Art is a national initiative, supported by [Arts Council England/Arts Council Northern Ireland/Creative Scotland], to make it easy and affordable for anyone and everyone to buy contemporary art and craft by providing interest-free loans. 

Choose the artwork you love, apply for a loan from as little as £100 up to £2,500 and pay it back over 10 months completely interest-free.

7. Confidentiality

All confidential information, including credit card details, are held securely. Customer details are not passed to third parties and are used only in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
