Swoon

Brooklyn-based artist Swoon creates street art, installations, and sculptural assemblages, merging art and activism with the intent of improving the world. Since 1999, she has created life-size wheatpaste portraits and figures that she pastes onto buildings, bridges, and other public surfaces. Her works often feature intricate details and delicate linework, showcasing her mastery of the medium. Swoon takes a humanitarian approach to art and contributed to the reconstruction of New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina and Haiti after the 2010 earthquake.
