If Warhol’s original artwork is a comment on American society of the time, its consumerism and its obsession with fame, my version represents a homage to both a global celebrity and a revolutionary artist who disrupted the art world.

Invader

French-born Invader, also known as Space Invader, is a renowned street artist and one of the pioneers of the urban art movement. Invader draws inspiration from the iconic video game characters of the 1980s, particularly the classic arcade game Space Invaders, which served as the foundation for his artistic pseudonym. The artist adopted the name "Invader" as a nod to his early obsession with gaming and the idea of invading public spaces with his art. His artistic style revolves around creating pixelated mosaic compositions using ceramic tiles, which he carefully arranges on various surfaces, including walls, buildings, and public infrastructure.
